Our Story
We serve family inspired recipes from Italy, bringing to life childhood favorites both savory and sweet. Open seven days a week, Paneantico offers a wide selection of pastries and desserts, breads, coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

My current title-holder for best sandwiches in all of NYC. Nobody comes close to their combination of house-made ingredients.

The food is super authentic and delicious here! You MUST get a sandwich on wood oven bread, and you will most likely want to split it since they are hearty. The mozzarella is delicious, and all the different foods in the glass case such as the rice balls, croquets and fruit salad are great too. The desserts are great as well.

I love this place, especially the proscuitto bagels. The food is great, incredibly fresh, the coffees on point. It can get crowded, but that's because it's good, totally worth the wait. The sandwich list is never ending and only disappointing because there are so many that you want to try that it's tough to make a choice; but they are all good and the breads amazing.

A great eatery/bakery/coffee shop Everything edible in this place is wonderful. The breads are amazing, so are the tri-color cakes. They have been life-savers for last minute pie/cake purchases too. I've always been well taken care of here - no complaints about the service. Several times though - I've felt that a few of the customers waiting on line deserved to be horsewhipped for how they act and treat the staff and other customers. When I read the bad service reviews - I wonder if they were penned by those self-serving ill-mannered jackasses that act like complete buttheads when they're out in public?

Delicious desserts and sweets ! Was looking at what they had for a good 5 minutes..indecisive one of the girls behind the counter came out to stand next to me and help me out and take my order...i was wowed by that. Will be coming back and the prices are very affordable too!

My sister once said, "If I were on death row and could have one final meal, it would be a Paneantico salad." I would have to agree. I've been coming here since it opened. The quality has stayed consistently good, coffee is very unique and delicious, and the house salad, as you can infer from my sister's interpretation, is to die for. The pastries are amazing - pignoli and the pistachio chocolate cookies are my favorite. Paneantico is hands down my favorite Bay Ridge eatery and my go-to.
